Workshop teaching in Africa
I am lucky enough to lead a team of lovely people who come out and teach in Africa with me on an annual basis. This is a charitable exercise based on funds raised by teaching in St. Andrews to fee-paying participants so that participants in developing countries attend at extremely low cost.
We also work closely with a fantastic team of people in South Africa at the Applied Centre for Climate and Earth Systems Science (ACCESS, led by Dr. Sweijd) which help make these workshops happen.
